ANGOLA, Ind. -- Dates have been announced for the 11th Annual Trine Softball Player Clinic.
The clinics will be held Sunday, Jan. 29 and Sunday, Feb. 19. Campers will have the opportunity to receive instruction from the 2016 National Fastpitch Coaches Association Central Region Coaching Staff of the Year, as well as interact with current Thunder softball players. Players will be drilled in the techniques that have produced the top home run hitting team in NCAA Division III three of the last five years.
Cost of the general afternoon session, which runs from 1:30 - 6 p.m. is $85. Morning, position-specific instruction for catchers and pitchers is also available at a cost of $30 each. Catching instruction begins at 10 a.m., with the pitching session following at 11 a.m. Participants can also receive a free tour of campus beginning at noon.
Catching and pitching participants are limited to first 30 players to register. There is no deadline to register for the afternoon clinic, and walk-ins will be accepted. Pitchers do not need to bring a personal catcher.
