Softball Announces Fall Hitting Clinics

ANGOLA, IND. – The Trine University softball team will be offering two hitting clinics in the upcoming months.

Dates for the clinics include Sunday, Nov. 11 and Sunday, Dec. 2. Each day the clinic will run from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The clinics offer a unique opportunity for softball players to learn the techniques used by the elite hitters of Trine University's softball team. During the 2018 season, the Thunder were crowned the NCAA Division III statistical slugging percentage champion with a nation-high slugging percentage of .603. They were also top five in home runs per game, on-base percentage, batting average and total home runs.

Each clinic costs $50 individually and will be capped at 40 participants.

The Thunder finished the 2018 season by making an 11th straight trip to the NCAA Division III Softball Championship tournament. They finished with a 26-13 overall record.
