*UPDATE* to Softball's Players Clinic

ANGOLA, IND. – The Trine University softball team has announced the date for the 14th Annual Trine Softball Players Clinic.

The pitching session is full as of Tuesday, Feb. 4. Registration for the catching session and general afternoon session are still open.

This year the team will host the event on Sunday, Feb. 16.

Participants will receive instruction from one of the top coaching staffs in the nation as well as a free campus tour and interaction with the current Thunder softball team.

The general afternoon session (1:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.), which is open to players 12 and up, costs $85. Catching and pitching sessions are available in the morning at a cost of $30 each. Catching and pitching spots are limited to 30 players.

There is no deadline to register. Walk-ins may be accepted, but are subject to availability of open spots.

The Thunder ended their season, and 12th straight appearance in the NCAA Softball Championship Tournament, tied for third in the nation finishing with a 37-8 record. The finish marks the best in program history and the best by a Trine team during its NCAA era, which began in 2004.
