ANGOLA, Ind. -- The Trine University softball hitting clinic scheduled for this Sunday, Dec. 5 has reached its cap on participants. Registration for the event is now closed and walk-ins will not be accommodated.
The clinic was announced in October and gives a unique opportunity for softball players to learn the techniques used by the elite hitters of Trine University's softball team. During the 2017, 2018 and 2019 seasons, the team was top-five for slugging percentage, runs scored and led the country with homeruns per game and total homeruns.
Sessions will be focused on hitting fundamentals and drills that have helped the Trine University softball program succeed at the plate.
