ANGOLA, Ind.-- Trine women's basketball head coach Ryan Gould appeared on ESPN 1380 AM/100.9 FM this afternoon.
Gould appeared on "Sports Rush with Brett Rump," a show on Fort Wayne's ESPN Radio affiliate, to discuss the success of the Thunder women's basketball team this season. Topics discussed included team's success on and off the court, recruiting philosophies and the upcoming construction of the MTI Center. Trine is off to its best start in program history with a 12-1 record and No. 25 national ranking, the team's first as a member of NCAA Division III. The Thunder have won 11-straight games, the third-longest winning streak in team history.
Trine returns to action Wednesday, Jan. 11 at Kalamazoo. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
The Thunder return home Saturday, Jan. 14 for a home contest against Alma at 1 p.m. The event is part of the "Free-for-All" doubleheader, which features free admission, giveaways and a half-court shootout contest for $200. More information on the "Free-for-All" event can be found HERE.
