ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University women's basketball team remained third in the most recent D3hoops.com Top 25 poll.
The Thunder lost a pair of first-place votes, but remain ahead of undefeated Transylvania University for third-place overall. Hope College, Trine and Transylvania all share two first-place votes each while top-ranked Christopher Newport University collected 19 total first-place tallies.
Heading into the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Tournament, the Thunder are the number one seed and will host their opponents throughout the event. First up, Trine takes on the eight-seed Kalamazoo College on Wednesday, February 23 at 7 pm.
