Rob Hoffman enters his sixth season on the coaching staff of the Thunder women's basketball program in the 2021-22 season. He was named Associate Head Coach in June of 2021.
Hoffman was a part of the turnaround for the Thunder as a student assistant from 2013-16 which ended with Trine making it to the conference championship and having two second-team All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association award winners.
