Thunder Third in First Championship Round

BATTLE CREEK, MICH.-- The Trine women's golf team tied for third in the first of two MIAA Championship rounds, held Friday at Bedford Valley Golf Course.

The Thunder accumulated a team score of 349. Amy Worthington (Logansport, Ind./Logansport) tied for fourth overall with a score of 80 (+8). Worthington has finished tied for sixth or higher in every MIAA round this fall. The performance leaves the Thunder in fourth place in the MIAA standings entering tomorrow's final round. Hope extended their lead atop the standings with a score of 318. They were led by Megan Klintworth's 77, which was good for individual medalist honors.
