GRANGER, Ind.—The Trine women's golf team placed fourth at the MIAA Playoff Round #1 on Saturday at the Knollwood Country Club.
Saint Mary's turned in the lowest score of the day, followed by Hope and Olivet.
Julia DeBelly (Sylvania, Ohio/Sylvania Northview) placed fifth shooting 82. Brooke Johnson (Crystal Lake, Ill./Prairie Ridge) tied for 13, while Amanda McPherron (Plymouth, Ind./Plymouth) and Ryleigh Gordon (Okemos, Mich./Okemos) tied for 19th. Claire Barnett (North Manchester, Ind./Manchester) tied for 24th.
Olivet's Nicole Deweyert was the low individual medalist on the day shooting 77.
The Thunder returns to action on April 28 for the MIAA National Qualifier #2 at Ravine's Golf Club in Saugatuck, Mich.
