Women's Golf Takes Fourth at Second Round of MIAA National Qualifier

SAUGATUCK, Mich.—The Trine women's golf team finished in fourth place at the second round of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association National Qualifier on Friday.

The Thunder finished with a combined scored of 356. Hope was the top team at 326, while Saint Mary's was in second at 330. Olivet took third at 335.

Saint Mary's Taylor Kehoe was the individual medalist at four-over 76.

Brooke Johnson (Crystal Lake, Ill./Prairie Ridge) led the Thunder shooting 83. Julia DeBelly (Sylvania, Ohio/Sylvania Northview) shot 86, while Jordan Stevens (Brownstown, Ind./Brownstown Central) shot 93. Natalie Woodley (Grayling, Mich./Grayling) turned in a 93, while Amanda Pucher (Holly, Mich./Holly) shot 104.

The final round has been moved up to 11:10 a.m. because of forecasted rain on Saturday.
