WYOMING, Mich. – The Trine University women's golf team traveled to Kaufman Golf Course in Wyoming, Michigan to compete in the Aquinas Fall Invite on Wednesday.
The Thunder women took sixth place, with the hosts of Aquinas College getting the victory.
Freshman Morgan Calhoun [Edinburg, Ind. / Edinburg] had the lowest score for Trine with a 97. Close behind was Caroline Boyd [Logansport, Ind. / Logansport] at 99.
Kelly Miller [Bryan, Ohio / Bryan], Ava Dobbins [Barberton, Ohio / Archbishop Hoban] and Anabelle Burkholder [Lima, Ohio / Bath] were other scoring members for the Thunder on Wednesday. Lucia Rodriguez [Archbold, Ohio / Archbold] was selected as an individual scorer.
The Kyle Campbell Invite is next on the schedule for the women's golf team, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, September 10-11, at the Medalist Golf Course in Marshall, Michigan.
