ALMA, Mich. – The Trine University women's golf team continued conference action on Saturday in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Jamboree #3 hosted by Alma College. The Thunder tied for fifth place as a team in the third round of league play at Pine River Country Club.
Adrian College won the event, making it back-to-back jamboree titles. The Bulldogs shot a 308 as a team. The Thunder tied with Calvin University with a combined score of 324. It is the lowest team score women's golf has put together in a conference event this season.
Máire Sullivan hit a 77 to place eighth overall, the lowest Trine score on the day. Bailey Bravata also put together a solid round of 80 to come in second on the team and tied for 14th.
Grace Dubec and Reagan Guthrie contributed scores of 83 and 84 for the team. Caroline Boyd rounded out team scoring with a 96. Competing as an individual, Calley Ruff scored an 89.
MIAA Jamboree #4 takes place on Thursday, September 29 at The Medalist Golf Course, hosted by Olivet College. Tee time is 1 pm.
