Women's Hockey Defeated by Conference Leading Foresters

LAKE FOREST, ILL. -- The Trine women's NCAA hockey team was defeated by the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) first place team Lake Forest College by the score of 9-0. The Foresters currently sit atop the conference with a 6-1 record.

Lake Forest was able to start the scoring with four first period goals, to take a 4-0 lead into the first intermission. The Foresters would not look back and would add another five goals between the last two periods to finish the game with a 9-0 win.

Freshman forward Eryn Isaacson (Fenton, Mich.) led the Thunder offensively with two shots on goal in the contest. A smattering of other skaters for Trine also recorded shots.

Freshman Ryan Harth (Medinah, Ill.) got the start in goal for the Thunder and would end up being the goalie of record, falling to 0-2 on the season.

Trine will look to bounce back in a rematch against the tough Lake Forest squad, tomorrow, Dec. 2 at 3 p.m.
