DULUTH, MINN. -- The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) league office announced that freshman Eryn Isaacson (Fenton, Mich.) and sophomore Molly Scarborough (Ramsey, Minn.) from the Trine University women's hockey team were named NCHA players of the week. Isaacson, a forward, was named the offensive player of the week, while Scarborough's performance in goal earned her the defensive honors.
Isaacson recorded two crucial points in the weekends doubleheader against Chatham University. On Friday, she scored her first game-winning goal of the season to secure the 2-1 victory for the Thunder. On Saturday she added an assist on the lone Trine goal, her third of the season.
Scarborough started both games on the weekend for the Thunder. She anchored the defense in the two games helping the team finish 1-0-1 on the weekend. She finished the weekend with 49 saves, a save percentage of .961 and a 0.96 goals-against average.

The Thunder will take to the road for a lone contest against King's College (Pa.) on Sunday, January 14. The contest is scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
