Women's Hockey Defeated by Concordia

MEQUOIN, WIS. – The Trine women's hockey team was defeated by Concordia University (Wis.) by the score of 9-1.

The Thunder surrendered two goals in each of the first two periods to enter the final stanza trailing 4-0. They would give up another two goals to begin the third to trail 6-0.

Trine would finally score in fifteenth minute of the final period. Freshman forward Eryn Isaacson (Fenton, Mich.) would come away with the goal, her team high eighth goal of the season, a team high. Sophomore Jordan Painter (Heath, Ohio) added her first assist of the season to the goal.

The Falcons would add three more goals to finish the game with the 9-1 victory.

Freshman Ryan Harth (Medinah, Ill.) got the start in net for the Thunder and finished with 35 saves.

The Thunder finish their inaugural season with a 4-17-1 record overall and 2-16 record in the NCHA.
