ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University women's NCAA hockey team has released its finalized scheduled for the 2018-19 season.
The Thunder start the program's second season with a nonconference doubleheader against Aurora University. Trine will host the Spartans on Friday, October 26 before traveling to finish off the weekend on the road.
The team's other nonconference games come at the beginning of January. The team starts 2019 by traveling to face Chatham University in a doubleheader starting on Friday, January 4. The matchup is a repeat from last season when the Thunder went 1-0-1 against the visiting Cougars.
Trine's final non-conference game comes against Adrian College, an NCAA playoff participant from a season ago, on Saturday, January 12.
The Thunder open Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) play when they travel to Finlandia University for a doubleheader on Friday, November 2. Their first home contest against an NCHA opponent comes on Saturday, November 10, when they host the second half of their doubleheader against Adrian College. The game starts a three-weekend homestand, as the Thunder host NCHA opponents Marian University and Lake Forest College over the rest of November.
Trine finishes the regular season facing off the with NCHA opponent Concordia University on Saturday, February 16.
