Women's Hockey Falls to Visiting Adrian

ANGOLA, Ind. -- The Trine University women's hockey team came up short against visiting Adrian College dropping the contest 5-1.

The Thunder's lone goal of the contest came in the 13th minute of the second period. The goal came on an up-close shot from junior Theresa DiMaggio (Shelby Township, Mich.) her first of the season. Senior Jade Pandres (Eagle River, Alaska) and junior Devin Dzumaryk (Milford, Mich.) added assists on the tally. 

The goal pulled the team back to just two down at 3-1, but they would allow two more goals in the contest to fall 5-1.

In goal Abbie Bost (Chelsea, Mich.) turned in a strong performance despite the differential on the scoreboard. She faced 65 shots in the game and came away with 60 saves.

Trine falls to 0-2 following the loss. They will face off with Adrian again tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 7. The game which will take place in Adrian is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
