Women's Hockey Shutout by Bulldogs

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Trine University women's hockey team was defeated by their hosts from Adrian College with a final score of 5-0.

The Bulldogs poured on the offense in the first period scoring three goals. A string of penalties in the second slowed them down before they finished off the scoring with another pair of goals in the third.

The Thunder offense struggled to find traction throughout the contest. Junior Brandi Wilson (Fenton, Mich.) led the team with five shots in the contest.

In net junior Emily Nettesheim (Hartland, Wis.) came up with 35 saves despite picking up the loss.

Trine falls to 2-4 overall and 0-1 in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) play following the loss.
