ANGOLA, Ind. - On the campus of Trine University, the Trine wrestling team hosted their first tournament of the year. The Trine University Invitational did not turn out as planned for the Thunder, as they only had two placers. Those two placers were; Mackenzie Green 1st (285) and Brandon Preston 4th (141).
Brandon Preston went 2-1 on the day, when he lost in the semi-final
match. His performance was good enough to land him at fourth place
on the day. The big performer on the day was Mackenzie Green. He
managed to go 4-0 for the Thunder and bring home the weight class.
He won his championship match 3-2.
The Thunder will travel to Olivet College on the 23rd of November
to participate in the Comet Duals tournament. The match is set to
begin at 10 am.
