OLIVET, Mich.-- Trine was defeated by 26th-ranked Olivet, 42-3 in a dual match Tuesday night at Cutler Event Center.
Brandon Preston (Logansport, Ind./Logansport) picked up the lone win for the Thunder, earning a 7-2 victory by decision. The senior picked up four points via takedown, and two on a near fall. Preston is now 16-6 on the season. Trine falls to 2-10 on the season in dual matches. Olivet is now 8-12.
Trine returns to action this Thursday, Feb. 12 when they travel to Wabash. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
