ANGOLA, IND. -- The Trine University wrestling team fell to Olivet (Mich.) College, 38-6, in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association dual meet in the home finale at Hershey Hall in Angola, Ind. on senior night.
The lone win for the Thunder was recorded by senior Luke Carver (Sturgis, Mich./Sturgis) who captured his 184-pound matchup by pinfall against Olivet's Kamyab Kamali. Carver pinned Kamali in less than a minute with a time of 57 seconds for six team points.
Trine will next compete a week from tonight (Thursday, Jan. 23) in a MIAA match against Adrian (Mich.) College. The first individual match is set for 7 p.m.
