Men's Wrestling Names Clark Assistant Coach

ANGOLA, Ind. -- The Trine University men's wrestling program has named Ryan Clark as their new assistant coach for the upcoming season.

"I'm excited to add Coach Clark to the staff," announced head coach Tom Hall, "He is the epitome of hard work and dedication and brings a broad range of knowledge that will help student athletes on and off the mats."

Clark is an alumnus of Olivet College, where he wrestled alongside Hall. While there Clark was a senior captain and two-year starter. He was named a NWCA Scholar All-American during the 2017-18 season and was ranked in the top-25 nationally in the 184 lbs. weight class. 

"As a former NWCA Scholar All-American he understands what it takes to succeed both on the mats and in the classroom," continued Coach Hall, "He also brings an extensive background in strength and conditioning training to the program. His knowledge and drive will help our student-athletes meet their full potential."

Clark is a native of Okemos, Mich. and graduated from Lansing Catholic High School in 2014.
