MANHEIM, Pa. – Two members of the Trine University men's wrestling team have been recognized for their efforts in the classroom as Scholar All-Americans by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA).
A total of 369 individuals competing at 88 different NCAA Division III institutions received awards for their accomplishments during the 2022-23 season. Representing the Thunder was junior Isaac Hawkins who is majoring in Psychology and classmate Joseph Langeman who is majoring in Design Engineering Technology.
NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer praised the student-athletes, stating, "I am honored to recognize these outstanding individuals who have excelled not only in their athletic pursuits but also in their academic endeavors."
