ADRIAN, MICH.-- Three second half goals led Adrian back from a halftime deficit to defeat Trine, 3-1, in MIAA-action Saturday afternoon at Docking Stadium.

The Thunder took a 1-0 lead into the half, but the Bulldogs scored three unanswered after the break to earn the victory. Gabriele Guilliod (Ottawa Hills, Ohio/Ottawa Hills) notched her first-career goal for Trine. Kat Sutherland, Sophie Rammal, and Ellery Karsten all scored for the Bulldogs. Adrian outshot the Thunder by a 12-8 margin. The Thunder fall to 4-8-3 overall, 2-7-3 in the MIAA. The Bulldogs improve to 7-6-3 overall, 5-5-2 in league matches.

Guilliod's first collegiate goal came at the 38:14 mark of the first half on a close shot from the right wing. Katie Wilson (Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern) picked up her first-career assist on the tally. Trine would take that lead into the half.

Sutherland scored an unassisted goal 5:10 into the second half to knot the score at one-apiece. Just one minute later, Rammal scored what would prove to be the game-winner off a pass from Ali Masciovecchio. The goal was Rammal's third of the season.

Karsten added an insurance tally with a little over 15 minutes to play. Carmina Lizyness picked up the assist.

Lexi Lewandowski earned the victory with one save in the second half. Taylor Royce made three saves in the first half for the Bulldogs.

Trine returns to action next Saturday, Oct. 25 when they travel to Olivet for a match at noon.
