ANGOLA, IND. -- The Trine women's soccer team were defeated by Adrian College by the score of 4-0 nothing this evening.
The Bulldogs were able to find the back of the net early in the match when Makenzie Wilcox made the most of a corner kick opportunity, heading the ball into the net.
Following the goal, the Thunder held opposition off the board for 66 minutes of game time. Trine's sophomore forward Marisa Robinett (Auburn/Dekalb) would tally both of the teams best chances of the evening during that stretch. Both were blistering shots from the top of the box that forced Adrian's goalkeeper to make diving saves.
The Thunder next take the pitch Saturday, Oct. 14 when the Olivet College Comets come to Angola for a noon match.
