KANSAS CITY, MO. -- Trine University senior goalkeeper Kristina Veljovic was named to the Third Team All-Central Region by the United Soccer Coaches on Wednesday, Nov. 29.
At the beginning of November, Veljovic was named to the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association's (MIAA) all-conference first team. She finished this season first in the conference with 148 saves and fourth with a .827 save percentage.
Veljovic finishes her college soccer career with the second-best career goals against average (1.64) and save percentage (.823). Her 1.55 goals against average this season is the third-best at Trine. The record is also held by Veljovic with her 1.04 goals against average in 2014.
