Women's Soccer Bitten by Polar Bears

ADA, Ohio -- The Trine University women's soccer team traveled to face Ohio Northern University but came up short dropping the match 3-0.

The Polar Bears got out to a strong start scoring their first goal in the ninth minute of the game. The goal would be the game winner as Ohio Norther shut out the Thunder during the match.

Trine's best chance of the contest came from freshman Mia Schlueter (Fort Wayne / Carrol) who recorded a shot on goal in the 28th minute of the game. 

Sophomore Courtney Reece (Indianapolis / Roncalli) led the Thunder with three shots in the game.

Trine falls to 3-3 following the loss. They will return to competition tomorrow, Sept. 14, when they face off with Heidelberg University in a 4 p.m. match.
