Women's Soccer Receives Votes in National Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The United Soccer Coaches have released the second edition of their NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Top 25 poll and for the first time in program history the Trine University women's soccer team is receiving votes.

The Thunder are one of two Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) members making an appearance on the poll, they join Calvin University who are currently ranked 13th. Also familiar to the team is Centre College, who are ranked 22nd in the poll. Trine lost a hardfought contest with the Colonels earlier this season by the score of 3-1.

The Thunder currently sit at 4-2 overall with their only two losses coming to Centre and NCAA Division I opponent Indiana University. 

Trine will travel to face Ohio Wesleyan University tonight, Tuesday, Sept. 20 for their next game. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
