Flying Dutch Outpace Women's Soccer

ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University women's soccer team allowed two goals in the second half that ended up being the difference with Hope College taking the 3-1 victory in the second Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) match of the season for both teams.

The lone goal of the first half came in the opening ten minutes and put the Thunder down to start the contest. The unassisted goal for the Flying Dutch made the score 1-0 was all the team had to show despite posting a convincing advantage on offense. They home team outshot Trine 10-3 overall and 3-1 on goal.

Adjustments at halftime gave the Thunder a boost in the early portion of the second half.
