ANGOLA, IND.-- The Trine women's tennis team was defeated by Kalamazoo 9-0 in a MIAA-match Sunday afternoon on the Trine Tennis Courts.
All of the Hornets wins were in straight sets. Kalamazoo is ranked ninth in the region. The Hornets improve to 12-4 overall and 6-0 in the MIAA. The loss drops Trine to 7-10 overall and 3-3 in MIAA matches. The Thunder find themselves in the thick of the conference standings and currently sit in fifth-place.
Trine will travel to Albion this Tuesday, Apr. 15 for a 4:00 p.m. match.
