Huhnke Named First-Team All-MIAA

ROYAL OAK, MICH.-- Trine women's tennis player Jessica Huhnke has been named First-Team All-MIAA, the conference announced as part of the league's all-conference release Saturday.

Huhnke (Newburgh, Ind./Castle) was named First-Team All-MIAA for the third-consecutive year. The senior finished the season 4-3 in conference singles matches, all of which came in the no. 1 court. She was 8-7 overall this season. Huihnke is one of two members of the All-MIAA team to make the team three times in her career.

Huhnke concluded her career with a 39-16 overall mark in singles matches. She won 83 percent of her matches during the 2011-12 campaign to finish 15-3 overall. As a junior, Huhnke finished with a 16-6 mark. She played every dual match of her Trine career at no. 1 singles.
