FREMONT, Ind.-- The Trine women's tennis team was defeated by Kalamazoo 9-0 in a MIAA-conference match Saturday afternoon at Fremont High School.
Kaitlin Black (Crawfordsville, Ind. / Southmont) provided a tough match for her opponent in No. 4 singles. After dropping the first set, Black gave her opponent a tough test in set two before falling by a 7-6 final.
Trine fell to 3-12 overall, 0-6 in the MIAA. Kalamazoo improved to 7-9 overall, 4-0 in conference matches.
The Thunder travel to Hope for another conference match this Tuesday, Apr. 26. The match is scheduled to get underway at 4 p.m.
