ANGOLA, Ind.-- The Trine women's tennis team closed its season with a 9-0 loss to Calvin in a MIAA match Saturday afternoon.
Lexi Mack (Temperance, Mich. / Bedford) gave her opponent a tough fight at No. 1 singles before falling by scores of 6-2, 6-4. Mack played the final match of her collegiate career. The senior concludes her collegiate tennis career with 30 singles wins, tied for the 14th-most in program history. Mack was also a part of 26 doubles victories during her time at Trine.
Kinnsey Pass (Lafayette, Ind. / Jefferson) battled tough in the No. 4 singles match, but was defeated 6-2, 7-6. Pass capped off a strong sophomore campaign with a 9-8 overall record. Her nine wins were a team-best in singles play.
Trine concluded the season 3-14 overall and 0-8 in the MIAA. Calvin improved to 13-6 overall and 6-2 in conference matches.
