ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Trine women's tennis team was defeated by Texas Lutheran, 8-1, in a non-conference match Thursday night at Lake Cane Tennis Center.
Kyra Braun (Portland, Ind. / Jay County) remained unbeaten on the season with the victory at no. 6 singles. Braun earned the victory by scores of 6-1, 6-1. The freshman is now 3-0 on the season, with all of her victories coming during the team's spring break trip.
Trine fell to 1-7 with the loss. Texas Lutheran improved to 7-2 overall.
The Thunder host Bethel (Ind.) Wednesday, Mar. 22 at 4 p.m. at Ryan Tennis Center.
