ADA, OHIO – The Trine University women's tennis team was defeated today by Ohio Northern University by the score of 9-0.
The Polar Bears led the match from beginning to end. The Thunder's strongest challenge to them came in the No. 3 doubles match, where sophomore Kyra Braun (Portland, Ind. / Jay County) and freshman Katie Simon (Paw Paw, Mich. / Paw Paw) pushed Ohio Northern to 13 points before falling 8-5.
Trine will look to bounce back when they take on Bethel (Ind.) College on Friday, March 23, in a home contest scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
