ANGOLA, IND. -- The Trine University women's tennis team was defeated this by Kalamazoo College today by the score of 8-1.
The Thunder's lone win in the match against the regionally ranked Hornets came from sophomore Kyra Braun (Portland, Ind. / Jay County) in No. 5 singles. Braun took the match in straight sets with scores of 6-1, 6-1.
Following the loss, Trine drops to 9-7 overall and 2-2 in the MIAA. They will look to bounce back when they travel to face Hope College on Friday, April 13 with the contest set to start at 4 p.m.
