HOLLAND, MICH. -- The Trine University women's tennis team were unable to advance past the first round of the MIAA Tournament falling to the No. 1 seeded and regionally-ranked Hope College, 5-0.
Trine reached the MIAA Tournament for the first time since 2008, marking the first time the team has competed in the narrowed four-team field which began in 2012.
Following the loss, the Thunder end the season with an 11-10 overall record, the teams best finish since the 2005-6 season.
