WINONA LAKE, Ind. -- The Trine University women's tennis team was defeated by host Grace College by the score of 9-0.
The team of freshmen Ashley Spirrison (Fishers / Hamilton Southeastern) and Tatum Matthews (Midland, Mich. / Herbert Henry Dow) came closest to picking up a win in the No. 1 doubles match where the team lost 8-5.
Following the loss, the Thunder finish the fall portion of their schedule with a 3-2 record. They will next take the courts during their spring brick trip in March of 2019.
