GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Trine University women's tennis team dropped their penultimate dual of the season, falling to Calvin University by the score of 8-1.

The Thunder's lone victory of the day came in the No. 1 doubles match. There the team of Elina Locane and Alexis Maloney won with a score of 8-4. The rest of the matches went heavily in favor of the home side as they built their final lead of 8-1.

Trine falls to 10-9 overall and 2-5 in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) play following the loss. They will finish out the season when they travel to Kalamazoo College on Saturday, April 27 for a 1 p.m. match.
