Steve Denton joined the Trine tennis programs as an assistant during the summer of 2016.

Denton formerly served as the head coach for nearby East Noble High School. He was named the KPC All-Area Coach of the Year in 2014-15. Denton has given lessons to local junior tennis players for more than 20 years. Several of Denton's pupils have gone on to play at the collegiate level.

A lifelong fan of tennis, Denton has competed for USTA travel teams. He is a native of Kendallville, Ind.
