DELAWARE, OHIO-- Trine's Trisha King concluded her season Friday night at the 2014 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field National Championships.
King (Archbold, Ohio/Archbold) ran a time of 2:12.92 in the preliminaries of the 800-Meter Run, but fell short of qualifying for the Championship race. The junior concludes the year having reached the National Championships during both the Indoor and Outdoor seasons, and having earned All-American honors with a fifth-place finish in the nation at the Indoor National Championships. King also earned First-Team All-MIAA honors this season.
Performers representing the top 20 qualifying times in the nation competed in the event. The National Championships are being hosted by Ohio Wesleyan at Selby Stadium and George Gauthier Track. The event concludes tomorrow.
