Two School-Records Highlight Friday Night Special

INDIANAPOLIS, IND.-- Two school-records and a first-place finish lead Trine's performance in the University of Indianapolis Friday Night Special.

Kara Eck (Auburn, Ind./DeKalb) set school marks in the Weight Throw and Shot Put. Eck threw a distance of 52 feet, 7.5 inches to finish third in the Weight Throw, and tossed a distance of 39 feet, 11.25 inches to finish fourth in the Shot Put. She had previously topped both distances in the Trine Conditioner, but those distances came as an unattached performer.

Trisha King (Archbold, Ohio/Archbold) won the One Mile Run with a time of 5:18.30. The mark was a personal-best, and six seconds ahead of the second-place runner. The reigning Indoor 800 M All-American also ran a time of 2:20.39 in the 800 M to finish second overall.

Lydia Suchecki (Spring Lake, Mich./Spring Lake) added a second-place finish in the High Jump with a height of 4 feet, 9.75 inches. Jennifer Steyer (Fenton, Mich./Lake Fenton) placed fifth in the Weight Throw.

Grace Connolly (Sheridan, Ill./Serena) added a personal-best in the 200 M with a time of 28.13 seconds.
