FINDLAY, Ohio-- A school-record performance and a first-place finish highlighted Trine's performance on the final day of the Findlay Classic.
Kara Eck (Auburn, Ind./DeKalb) set a new school-record in the Shot Put, throwing a distance of 41 feet, 8.75 inches. She broke her own school-record by slightly over one foot. Eck's performance comes on the heels of a school-record performance in the Weight Throw set yesterday.
Trisha King (Archbold, Ohio/Archbold) tied for first in the 800 M, running a time of 2:18.86. The senior added a second-place finish in the One-Mile Run, running a career-best time of 5:16.25.
Courtney Forsythe added a career-best time for a One-Mile event to finish sixth. The junior ran a time of 5:46.01 for her first sub-six minute time in the event.
Lydia Suchecki (Spring Lake, Mich./Spring Lake) added a fourth-place finish in the High Jump.

Trine returns to action next Friday, Jan. 30 when they host the Don and Riley Zimmer Indoor Classic in Keith E. Busse/Steel Dynamics Athletic Recreation Center. Events are set to begin at 5 p.m.
