HILLSDALE, Mich.-- The Trine women's track and field team wrapped up its performance in the Hillsdale GINA Relays today.
Samantha Stensland (Fishers, Ind. / Hamilton Southeastern) finished third among NCAA Division III performers in the 1500-meter run. Stensland ran a time of 5:00.94. Kyla Binfet (West Yellowstone, Mont. / West Yellowstone) set a new personal-best time by 14 seconds, running a time of 5:04.45 to finish fourth among Division III competitors.
Highlights of yesterday's performance in the GINA Relays included a record-setting performance by Kara Eck (Auburn, Ind. / DeKalb) in the hammer throw. CLICK HERE for more details on yesterday's events.

Trine will compete in MIAA Field Day, which serves as the conference's outdoor track and field championship. Events begin Thursday, May 5 at Olivet College.
