Members of Women's Track Competes at Dr. Keeler Invitational

NAPERVILLE, ILL.  --  Members of the Trine University women's outdoor track and field team competed in the Dr. Keeler Invitational hosted by North Central (Ill.) College in Naperville, Ill.  The two-day meet was unscored.

In Thursday's action, senior Lacie Piekarski (Spring Lake, Mich./Spring Lake) ran in the 5,000-meter event and finished with a time of 18:08.45 which was good enough for 20th place out of 56 total runners.  

On Friday, senior Hannah Blystone (Carmel, Ind./Carmel) competed in the 1,500-meter run and crossed the finish line in a time of 4:48.08 to place 20th overall.  

In addition, freshman Chloe Brittain (Breckenridge, Mich./Breckenridge) was the lone Trine athlete in the 800-meter run and finished with a time of 2:20.06 which put her 38th out of 78 runners.

Up next on the schedule is a return trip to Naperville, Ill. to take part in the Gregory Invitational next Wednesday-Thursday, May 15-16 hosted by North Central.  The first events on Wednesday are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
