Trine University Track and Field Outdoor Schedule Unveiled

ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University men's and women's track and field programs have announced their 2023 outdoor season schedule for the spring.

After wrapping up the NCAA DIII Indoor National Championships, the Thunder will make a return trip south to Emory University to compete in the Thrills in the Hills Open on March 24-25. Also on March 25, a group of student-athletes will take part in the Hanover College Invitational.

The following weekend, Trine will enter in the Spartan Invite, hosted by Michigan State University. That event will take place on March 31-April 1. Three meets in the Hoosier state await the Thunder, starting with the Wabash College Invite on April 8. They will also travel to DePauw University for the Indiana DIII Championships on April 15 and Indiana Wesleyan University on April 21-22 to clash in the Little State Championships.

Postseason play begins on May 4-5 when Olivet College plays host to the 2023 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Outdoor Championships. The Trine men are searching for their third consecutive MIAA outdoor championship. The 2023 NCAA DIII Outdoor National Championships take place at the Polisseni Track and Field Complex in Rochester, New York on May 25-27. Jake Gladieux is the only returning Thunder competitor with National Championship experience in the outdoor slate, but several student-athletes just missed the cut one season ago.
