DEFIANCE, Ohio – Throwers from the Trine University women's track and field team were in action at the Dick Small Invite at Defiance College on Friday afternoon. Entering only two events, the Thunder were fourth of five teams entered at the event.
Chloe Bard was victorious in the shot put with a toss of 11.71 meters (38' 5.00"). Kassandra Swank placed second at 10.45 meters (34' 3.50") and Breeyn Fulkerson was fourth at 8.46 meters (27' 9.00"). In the weight throw, Swank was second, her best toss reaching a distance of 11.72 meters (38' 5.50"). Bard was third at 11.57 meters (37' 11.50").
The Thunder track and field programs compete tomorrow, February 11, at the Midwest Elite Invitational, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
