LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Trine University men’s and women’s volleyball programs were each honored by the United States Marine Corps and the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) as USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award recipients for the 2022-23 school year.
ANGOLA, Ind. – Madison Schweitzer has been announced as an assistant coach for the Trine University men’s and women’s volleyball teams as of January 2023.
GREENWOOD, Ind. – The 2022 Academic All-District® teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), have been announced for the four fall sports, including football, men’s and women’s soccer and women’s volleyball. Eleven Thunder student-athletes were named to their respective All-District teams.

ANGOLA, Ind. – On Saturday afternoon, the Trine University women’s volleyball team celebrated the team’s three graduating student-athletes in the team’s final regular season match versus Olivet College. Prior to play, Kailee Cornell, Bethany Ulring and Joslynn Battle were honored for their accomplishments on and off the floor for Trine. The Thunder were able to make quick work of the Comets and defeated their opposition in three sets.
ALMA, Mich. – After a week of no game action, the Trine University women’s volleyball team recorded a 3-1 victory over Alma College on Wednesday night. Sophomore Catherine Dobies made her presence known on the court with 15 kills on 40 attempts with just one error. She also added an ace, nine digs and a block assist to her ledger in a 16.5-point evening.
ANGOLA, Ind. – In non-conference action, the Trine University women’s volleyball team dropped a match to the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Saturday. The Fightin’ Engineers were able to take down the Thunder in straight sets on their home floor.
ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University women’s volleyball team forced the 14th ranked team in NCAA DIII, Hope College, to four sets inside Hershey Hall on Wednesday night in a 3-1 loss. The Thunder swung .256 in the second set victory 25-19.
ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University women’s volleyball team won their second consecutive match on Saturday by defeating the Saint Mary’s College Belles in three sets. Sophomore Catherine Dobies led the way, especially on the defensive end, with a career-high 19 digs.
ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University women’s volleyball team hosted Spalding University inside Hershey Hall on Monday night for the team’s annual Pink Out match in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. The Thunder were able to take three sets out of four versus the visiting Golden Eagles to get back in the win column.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – On Wednesday night, the Trine University women’s volleyball team collected their first Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) win of the season at Kalamazoo College. The Thunder topped the Hornets in four sets to secure the road win.
ALBION, Mich. – In a tri-match at Albion College, the Trine University women’s volleyball team split with the host Britons and the Franklin College Grizzlies. In the team’s opening match, the Thunder lost to Albion in straight sets, but rebounded for a 3-1 non-conference win against Franklin.
ADRIAN, Mich. – The Trine University women’s volleyball team began Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) play on Tuesday night when the team traveled to Adrian College to take on the Bulldogs. In a rematch of the 2021 MIAA Quarterfinals, the Thunder were defeated 3-1 this time around.
DELAWARE, Ohio – The Trine University women’s volleyball team completed a 1-1 day on Saturday after sweeping Bethany University in three sets on Friday night. The Thunder lost to Ohio Wesleyan in straight sets to open the morning, then bounced back to defeat Anderson University 3-0 in match number two Saturday.

ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University women’s volleyball team has released their schedule ahead of the 2022 season. Head coach Jamie Wozniak enters her 13th season at the helm of the Thunder women’s volleyball program. Last season, the team held a record of 17-16, with a pair of student-athletes receiving All-MIAA accolades.
