Women's Volleyball Announces Summer Camp Dates

ANGOLA, Ind. - The Trine University women's volleyball program has announced dates for several upcoming camps in July. The Thunder will be hosting five camps geared toward middle and high school aged athletes. 

The Skills Camp series will be held on Wednesday, July 10 through Friday, July 12. Participants will receive three hours of skill specific training from 5-8 p.m. inside Hershey Hall. On Wednesday, attacking and blocking will be taught.  Thursday's camp date will cover setting specifics. On Friday, campers will be working on defensive, passing and serving skills. Each session costs $50 and is open to any volleyball players entering sixth grade to incoming college freshmen. Campers can expect detailed training based upon their skill level.

The team will also hold two Prospect Camps this summer. The first will be on Saturday, July 13 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The second will be on Tuesday, July 30 also from 10 a.m.–4 p.m.  Prospect Camps will include two sessions of training, lunch, a t-shirt, and optional campus tours.  The camp is designed to give high school players an in-depth look into the Trine Women's Volleyball Program. It will include skill work and competitive play. It is open to players entering the 9th through 12th grades interested in the Trine Volleyball team.
