ANGOLA, IND.-- The Trine women's cross country team will be looking to climb up the standings at the MIAA Championships, set to be held this Saturday at Calvin College.

The Thunder sit in seventh place in the conference standings after their performance in the MIAA Jamboree at Kalamazoo, which counts one-third towards the league championship. Courtney Forsythe (West Mansfield, Ohio/Benjamin Logan) and Kelsey Ortiz (Swanton, Ohio/Anthony Wayne) have consistently finished among the top three for the Thunder this season. Forsythe has turned in Trine's best time in three races this season, while Ortiz has finished among the team's top three runners in every race.

Kyla Binfet (West Yellowstone, Mont./West Yellowstone) and Kelli Hogenkamp (Coldwater, Ohio/Coldwater) have also placed among Trine's top five this season, and will be looking help the Thunder secure a higher finish.
